Note: This
class is also approved for 4
real estate agent clock
hours.
Even with decent annual
appreciation rate in home
values here in the
Northwest, public records
statistics show over one
thousand homes currently in
the foreclosure process in
King County alone.
This new
four-hour course is the
follow up to our popular
class on "The Short Sale"
and is designed to help
mortgage loan originators
learn about the Washington
State Deed of Trust Act. In
this class, we we will learn
about deed of trust
foreclosures, their typical
procedures, the ways they
can be averted, and general
legal defenses to them.
Loan Originators and brokers
will know how to help home
buyers who are in the
process of purchasing a home
that's in foreclosure, and
how to inform
refinance-seeking homeowners
who might be headed down
this road.
Through the
use of lecture, quizzes,
case studies, and
small-group exercises,
mortgage loan originators
will gain an understanding
of foreclosures and our
Washington State Deed of
Trust laws.
